Liberals Want to Rename the City of Austin, TX Because It’s Racist

Here’s the problem with liberal revisionist history. They already claim that every single human being in the world (or at least every white person) is unforgivably racist. When you combine that with their current agenda, you find that the bulk of human history is unacceptable. We can’t speak the name of the majority of prominent figures throughout history. We can’t talk about what they did right. We can’t talk about the fact that they were three-dimensional, flawed human beings who managed some incredible accomplishments despite their shortcomings.

If we’re not even allowed to talk about historical figures, then we have no hope of learning from them. Maybe that’s what the left really wants. If we revise history enough, maybe we can justify their socialist movement. Maybe we can learn to accept the eugenic principles of abortion. Maybe we can get on board with modern genocide.

Really, they shouldn’t want to play this game. There’s no reason to believe that the judgments of history will be any more favorable to them than to our predecessors. We all get things wrong, but when you lose perspective, you set yourself up for a harsh reckoning. It is the left that is trying to destroy all society. Will future generations be forgiving of that?

In case you missed it, this week’s outrage of the moment is all about Austin, TX. You can get the details from this video, but don’t expect it to be rational. Take a look.
