“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” Those are immortal words from Dr. Seuss that inspire children to embrace literacy and learned valuable life lessons such as kindness and fairness.
Unfortunately, children across America won’t enjoy reading Dr. Seuss any longer because cancel culture has labeled the famous books as racist. According to this breaking news report, Dr. Seuss has racial undertones that make the rhymes a clear and present danger.
It seems ironic that previous presidents and first ladies, such as Michelle Obama, promoted literacy and embraced the quirky illustrated books because they engage young children and teach life lessons. Imagine America’s children are being instructed that Seuss-isms such as the following are racist:

“Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who don’t, and believe that everything happens for a reason.”

I am going to fight back. Going to Barnes and Noble to buy these books. I am writing my congressional delegation asking them to intervene by passing a resolution in support of these books. Next I will find the publisher and tell them I will never buy a book from them. I will tell Barnes and Noble the same. I will buy all my books from private sources. Join me, pass the word, If a million people showed at Barnes and Noble in the next 30 days I am sure there will be change of heart. I also will tell all my liberal friends in my circle that this is their party that is doing this. In the meantime I hear the books are selling like hot cakes and the free system price is taking over. I have several old Dr. Seuss books I was going to donate to the library for their sale. Now, I’m keeping them. Not only are my descendants going to enjoy them but they should only increase in value.
