The overwhelmingly liberal city of Edison Township, New Jersey recently decided to ban the Constitution and the American flag from being held during their town council meetings under the guise of banning “props” from being used.
Needless to say, REAL Americans who caught wind of this weren’t all too happy…
One lawyer showed up to a town council meeting to protest the moronic new rule by simply holding up an American flag as he spoke.
What did the liberal leaders on the town council do? They ordered him to be removed by cops!
“I’m holding up an American flag to represent the constitutional values,” Attorney Joel Bassoff said during the meeting as Council President Nishith Patel started rabidly banging on his gavel to give him an official warning.
Bassoff continued, “It’s my constitutional right to do this,” the lawyer continued. “If you get sued, you will lose. My suggestion to you is that you get a second opinion from competent counsel because you are wrong.”
As others in attendance cheered him on, Bassoff accused the town council of “interfering with the right to speech of a member of the public,” demanding that it stop now.
But seconds later, two officers approached Bassoff as the deranged council president demanded that he be removed and thrown out…for holding an American flag while speaking to city leaders at the meeting.
This is how far off the deep -end the left has gone. These people are just communist scum hiding their hatred for America until they get into power and they can a chance to SHOW US.
We must vote out every single last one of these people before they succeed in destroying our country from the inside!
