Jon Stewart, the far-left host of The Daily Show has been one of the most vocal critics of President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement for years, but he seems to have FINALLY realized why support for Trump and his movement has grown so strong.
Despite being a long-time progressive, Stewart has been critical of the Democratic party following the 2024 election blowout, revealing that they’ve completely abandoned the American people.
“The election that we just had was a repudiation of the status quo,” Stewart said. “An overly regulated system that is no longer responsive or delivering for the needs of the people.”
This is right on the money. Democrats in our government have completely forgotten the average American citizen and are instead, more concerned with illegal immigrants, foreign aid, and LGBTQ nonsense.
In their eyes, regular Americans like you and I might as well not even exist – except for when tax time comes, of course.
Stewart explained to his liberal audience, “Government is theoretically a constitutional system of checks and balances between equally powerful branches. But what government actually is, is an overly complicated, byzantine bureaucratic maze of rules, loopholes to those rules, and norms.”
He noted that the “status quo” Democrats are “completely unwilling or unable to respond in any way to the concerns of voters…” Instead, the Dems just told prospective voters to “Get on board or shut the f*ck up.”
And THIS is precisely why so many former Democrats have turned conservative, because put simply, people are tired of the same old America last nonsense that the left-wing party has adopted as their platform.
