Foreign policy wins for President Joe Biden have not stacked up as he probably thought they would. His expectation that the liberal media would cover for him has not quite panned out on this story as past comments uncover Biden’s true feelings.
Rob Schmitt from Newsmax examines how the liberal media turned on the president like they were taking on former President Donald Trump.
As Schmitt notes, “And we all know that the president does not like tough questions.”
In the first clip, Biden was asked, “Do you trust the Taliban, sir?”
Biden responded, “Is that a serious question?” It went downhill from there.
In a second clip, Biden said, “We did not go to Afghanistan to nation build and it’s the right and the responsibility of the Afghan people alone to decide their future and how they want to run their country.”
So far, so good. But then Schmitt brought up a past Biden clip from 1994 on Haiti, a nation whose president was assassinated recently. The clip said, “If Haiti just quietly sunk into the Caribbean or rose up 300 feet, it wouldn’t matter a whole lot.”
Yikes! Good thing he has a better speechwriter today adding some comments on the teleprompter to remind him America is here to help with the investigation in Haiti, which oddly allegedly included two Americans.
The strange but true events are too good to miss. Check it out from the team at Newsmax now.
