Joe Biden suddenly came down with COVID after saying that he would consider dropping out if medical issues arose (how convenient) and the media’s reaction has been probably more insane than we could have guessed.
While Biden has a glorified cold and has even said that he’s only suffering from mild symptoms, the left-wing nutjobs in the media have equated Biden catching COVID to Trump being shot.

The usual suspects over at MSDNC , Joy Reid and Jen Psaki, asserted that if old Joe managed to recover from COVID, it will be “exactly the same” as President Trump surviving an assassination attempt which literally saw him shot in the head and nearly killed.
Of course the deranged liberal talking heads insisted that it would be a similar show of strength if Biden overcame COVID.
“These two men are both elderly,” said Reid. “Donald Trump is an elderly man, who for whatever reason, was given nine seconds to take an iconic photo op during an active shooter situation, a weird situation we will figure out one day. But his survival of that and bouncing right back, and going right to his convention, is being conveyed in the media world as a sign of strength.”
Then she continues saying that as an 81 year old with COVID, if Biden is “fine in a couple of days, doesn’t that convey exactly the same thing? That he’s strong enough – older than Trump – to have gotten something that used to really be fatal to people his age. So, if he does fine out of it and comes back and is able to do rallies, isn’t that exactly the same?”
“It should!” Psaki replied.
