Oh, no! Conservatives are fleeing the censorship of Big Tech social media sites for new ones like Parler. How will America last?
According to a recent CNN report, the conservative exodus to Parler should deeply concern every American. Why? The host calls it “an echo chamber” with risks that include “a lot of overt racism” and “anti-Semitism.”
Of course, the report fails to mention Big Tech’s ongoing acceptance of anti-Semitic attacks on social media through the Ayatollah of Iran and other Palestinian and anti-Israel groups. Never mind that Twitter has banned any and all “political” ads and Facebook rejects any ad, “Using the word ‘other’ to reference a personal characteristic.”
And how many times has America’s president been “fact-checked” on Twitter? Statisticians are starting to lose count, as the daily totals continue to grow. But Biden? His basement-led comments have literally received zero fact-checking flags.
Yet Twitter-alternative Parler is deemed too dangerous for mainstream media. It only markets itself as focused on free speech and liberty, and has recently ranked as Apple’s number-one downloaded app. If mainstream media is concerned about numbers, they may wish to overlook their bias and recognize the giant shift in numbers this growth represents. If the media wants eyeballs, it must connect with the wants of viewers, and that includes Trump supporters.
The number-one desire to patriotic Americans? Same as always. Give me liberty or give me death. Parler has recognized the need and is once again giving Americans liberty on social media.
