Uber liberal TV host Bill Marr is coming out in defense of actress Gina Carano who was canceled by Disney for being a conservative. But to closely watch this video and dissect Marr’s surface support of the conservative actress may not support the conclusion that the talk show cares. In fact, as this insightful video points out, Democrat extremists have been canceling Americans for one reason or another for ages.
Carano, a former MMA fighter turned actress who was starring in Disney’s Mandalorian series, reportedly made garden variety tweets about liberal hate being akin to Nazism. Believe it or not, even Marr agrees that pretty much every political hard-head calls someone a Nazi who doesn’t agree with them.
But as Marr’s pseudo defense of Carano goes under the microscope, his Hollywood elitism and references to 1950s blacklisting demonstrate he drinks the same cancel culture Kool-Aid as elites such as AOC and Nancy Pelosi. While trying to come across as a moderate able to reach audiences on either side of the aisle, Marr gives himself away.
You see, cancel culture is not nearly the same thing as the McCarthyism that targeted Soviet Union spies covertly working in the U.S. federal government. Hundreds of deep operatives were working against our Democracy at the time. Hollywood blacklisting was a different animal altogether and this intelligently crafted video lets everyday people know the difference. BTW – I resent the term “people of color”. I happen to be white and incase you people didn’t know this – WHITE IS ALSO A COLOR!!! I used to be a dumb Liberal, until I was walking down the street, minding my own business, and I got mugged by 7 or 8 ( I didn’t have enough chance to actually count them ) black youths, in their middle teens, I guess!
