They had bombs, they had a plan, and they screamed “Death to America” — but sure, tell us again how they “didn’t want anyone to get hurt.” That’s the line the left-wing media is running with after a terrifying terrorist plot was just stopped cold in California.
A group calling itself the “Turtle Island Liberation Front” — a far-left, anti-capitalist, pro-Palestine, anti-government bunch of radicals — was caught allegedly plotting to set off bombs in Los Angeles and Orange County on New Year’s Eve. According to Attorney General Pam Bondi, the group’s plans included multiple bombings and even targeting ICE agents and their vehicles. So yeah, not exactly “peaceful protestors.”
Let’s be clear: these weren’t just wild ideas on a message board. The feds found bomb-making materials, “Free Palestine” flyers, and handwritten signs that said things like “Death to America” and “Death to ICE.” Real friendly stuff.
But instead of calling it what it is — domestic terrorism — ABC News and other lefty outlets are bending over backward to soften the blow. One ABC podcast host even said, “Nowhere do they allege that any of these individuals wanted anybody to be harmed.” Oh really? What part of “pipe bombs targeting ICE agents” sounds like a harmless art project?
BlazeTV’s Stu Burguiere put it perfectly: “Strikes me that if someone’s plan was to target ICE agents, perhaps that means they did want to hurt people.” Ya think?
This is what happens when the media cares more about protecting their radical base than telling the truth. If a MAGA hat had been found at the site, this would be the lead story for weeks. But because it’s a leftist terror cell, we’re supposed to pretend it’s not a big deal.
