Left-wing billionaire Mark Cuban has been the latest to be exposed as a major hypocrite when it comes to DEI during a dispute with Elon Musk over the issue.
After Musk stated that the left-wing practice of prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion was the definition of racism thanks to the fact that it encourages discrimination on the basis of race, Cuban felt the need to respond as many bleeding heart liberals often do.
Cuban attempted to defend DEI by arguing that it helps companies find talent they would not otherwise discover. The leftist made the claim that without DEI, certain races would be “regularly excluded” from hiring consideration.
Beyond that, he claimed that companies which forgo DEI hiring practices only “stand to lose” because they would be missing out on high-talent hires.
He carried on rambling about the “wonders” of DEI before Elon exposed him as a blatant hypocrite in one short response.
Musk asked Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks NBA team, when he was planning to hire “short white/Asian women” to play for his basketball team since he values DEI so strongly.
“Cool, so when should we expect to see a short white/Asian women on the Mavs?” Musk asked, following up by pointing out that if Cuban did this, his team would be in last place IMMEDIATELY!
