It’s always fun to watch Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake of Arizona manhandle liberal reporters when they try to play “gotcha” with her. Kari was a TV news anchor for years, so she’s far more polished in her responses to their dumb questions and never seems surprised or taken aback by them.
Like most Republican candidates, she’s not “camera shy” at all. Not even close! Plus, she understands that the liberal media are not her friends, and they never will be her friends, so she never tries to play footsie with them by sacrificing her personal convictions. She’s no Kristi Noem, in other words.
Based on her personality and her standoffishness with the media, you can see why everyone is starting to wonder whether Donald Trump might choose her to be his running mate in 2024. She seems to be everything that Mike Pence is not and would possibly be a much better fit as Trump’s second-in-command than Pence ever was.
When she was asked that very question at a campaign stop this week, she nuked the reporters from orbit – but not for the reason you might think. You can see them try to issue weak smiles as she tears into them, but it’s really a one-sided fight (as always). Really LIKE this lady and think that IF Mr. Trump (or any other Republican) would someday consider her as running mate, they’d have a winner. More, please!
