Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake in Arizona is the mainstream media’s worst nightmare. She spent years as a broadcast journalist and TV news anchor in Arizona, so she knows all the tricks that reporters use, and always delivers a masterful rebuttal when they try to use a “gotcha” question against her. The MSM hates that!
Lake has been pulling ahead of her Democrat opponent Katie Hobbs in recent weeks, for a couple of reasons. First, Katie Hobbs certified the stolen 2020 election as Arizona Secretary of State. That gives Kari Lake a solid base of support. Republican voters are ready to cast their ballot for anyone but Katie Hobbs, and Kari Lake is the best possible rebuttal to the stolen election.
Second, Katie Hobbs flat-out refuses to debate Kari Lake. Kari is simply too polished and professional, and Hobbs knows she would get shredded. She’s running away from any sort of televised debate, and the voters see that cowardice. There’s simply no excitement leaning in the direction of Katie Hobbs.
A few days ago, a reporter tried to trip Kari Lake up with a “gotcha” question on abortion. The way that Kari unapologetically handled the reporter was a master class in rhetorically thumping a dumb person. You can’t see the reporter in the video below, because they are off-camera – but you can still feel them cringe!
