The mainstream media says we are not allowed to compare the Wuhan virus to the seasonal flu. How many times have we all been scolded for this? The two are clearly different and entirely incomparable they say. Nevermind the fact that they are variant diseases that cause what we all know as the common cold. Nevermind the fact that all of our initial responses to the coronavirus outbreak were based on influenza procedures and policies. Nevermind the fact that the only way a practicing doctor can distinguish between the two diseases is with an invasive active infection test and a microscope.
You’re not allowed to compare them because, according to the left, comparing things is racist. Or something. No one has yet really explained why the left hates comparisons so much. It probably triggers them to think.
So, knowing that you can’t compare the Chinese virus to the flu, you might think that more extreme comparisons would be worse, right? We probably shouldn’t compare it to HIV or Kuru. That would be even crazier than comparing it to the flu, and that should be worse. So when Kamala Harris compares the coronavirus to Ebola, that should be a grave sin. At least, it would be if anyone on the left was remotely capable of consistency in anything.
Harris tried to say that Obama and Biden handled the current virus better than President Trump because only two people in our country died of Ebola during the last outbreak in America. This stupid comparison forgets a lot of important facts, such as the fact there was no Ebola outbreak anywhere outside of Africa. There’s so much wrong with what she said that it’s probably best to summarize it in video form. Steven Crowder has you covered in this video.
