Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris attempted to politicize a deadly hurricane Milton that’s headed for Florida, and boy, did it backfire!
Harris told reporters that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) was “playing political games” by refusing to take her call while trying to prepare his state for the hurricane.
Kamala claimed that DeSantis was being “utterly irresponsible” and “selfish” rather than doing the job he took an oath to do.
The Vice President was trying to make it seem as though the governor was neglecting the needs of his state by not taking the time to speak with her… but he QUICKLY shut her down and exposed that SHE was the one trying to seize the moment for her own political gain.
Mere hours after Kamala’s little performance for the reporters, DeSantis told Fox News that in 3.5 years with her as VP, she has never ONCE called him to offer assistance with storms like this.
“She has no role in this. In fact, she’s been vice president for three and a half years. I’ve dealt with a number of storms under this administration. She has never contributed anything to any of these efforts.”
DeSantis went on to say that he has worked with both President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden to ensure the residents of his state are safe during storms like this.
“She’s the first one who’s trying to politicize the storm, and she’s doing that just because of her campaign.”
He continued exposing the real reason Kamala is pretending to care, “She knows she’s doing poorly and so she’s trying to play political games. I don’t have times for political games. I’ve got people whose lives are on the line.”
Kamala THOUGHT she could use this disaster to her political advantage and it completely blew up in her face.
This is hilarious.
