Judge Judy Sheindlin known for her no nonsense style in the courtroom blasted Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) this Tuesday, saying that his cherished democratic socialist’s revolution is a joke and he is deluded in thinking he can fool the American public into voting for his agenda.
Speaking to Stephanie Ruhle on MSNBC, Scheindlin said, “Senator Sanders’s revolution is not what this country needs. It’s a revolution that, A, is a joke, because it is fiscally impossible, and, B, wherever it has been tried on a large scale it’s failed.”
The biggest joke, said Sheindlin, Sanders has been in Congress for decades but has only had “three or four bills” he authored pass in the 30 years that he has been in Congress” and “two of them were to name post offices.”
Turning to former Vice President Biden, Sheindlin told Ruhle that she thought he is a nice guy who she has nothing bad to say. But she warned Biden is likely to do poorly against President Trump in general election debates. “The incumbent [has] been through three years of colonoscopy … Joe Biden … has been sort of treated by kid gloves with his opponents. That’s going to change and dramatically.”
The 77-year-old Judge Judy’s highly rated syndicated show will end its run this year after 25 seasons.
