If you had forgotten why “The View” on ABC remains one of the most unwatchable hours on television, here’s a reminder for you. Co-hostesses Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg are two of the most bitter, failed comediennes to still somehow be clinging to their careers thanks to nothing more than this program.
Joyless Behar recently managed to make headlines for mocking Vice President Mike Pence, who says he prays to Jesus for guidance before making any major decisions in life. Oprah Winfrey said she’s waiting to hear from God on whether to run in 2020, but don’t expect Behar to mock Oprah. (Isn’t it funny how Behar’s mockery only runs one direction against people of faith?)
Behar also published a book last year (probably ghost-written and bankrolled by George Soros) on how Donald Trump is destroying America. For a progressive anti-capitalist, Behar certainly knows how to cash in on an opportunity.
In her latest attempt to garner fawning attention from television critics, Behar claimed that Donald Trump and nationalist leaders in Europe suddenly have a “penchant for Nazis.” She laments that Trump is not a nice conservative — you know, like those conservatives of yore who were totally respected by the left and never compared to Hitler.
