To be honest, we had forgotten that The Daily Show on Comedy Central existed years ago. We vaguely remembered that it existed and the long-ago host, Jon Stewart, was sometimes kind of funny until he caught Trump Derangement Syndrome and left.
After a string of disastrous, failed fill-in hosts between 2016 and 2024, Jon Stewart is back to his old hosting gig. Surprisingly, he’s kind of funny when he’s ripping on his own political party.
It’s been so long since we saw a liberal “comedian” be funny that we had forgotten what it’s like. The Babylon Bee has been carrying most of the weight when it comes to real comedy for the past few years.
Democrat voters are furious and suffering mental breakdowns after the disastrous 2024 campaign. Their first nominee turned out to have dementia (surprise!) and the second one burned through a billion dollars in just three months, only to lose to Donald Trump and drag her party down with her.
The Democrat politicians have been feverishly trying to put a positive spin on their losses. It isn’t working out well for them. CNN and MSNBC are both on the verge of total collapse for their relentless lying to the public. Not even their usual Democrat voters can bring themselves to tune in.
Jon Stewart sees right through the nonsense and calls the Democrat spin doctors out on their BS. This is one of the funniest segments we’ve seen on The Daily Show in years after we forgot that it still existed:
