John McCain’s Top Staffer Urged IRS Head Lois Lerner to Target Tea Party Groups

We’re not ones to bash military veterans. Such service requires great courage and sacrifice, and John McCain is no exception. His endurance while a captive of an evil regime is worthy of praise, and in the face of battle and torture he did display courage and sacrifice.

That being said, his courage and sacrifice do not inherently translate into good decision making. Even during his time in Vietnam, he showed terrible judgment on multiple occasions and contributed to military losses and the endangerment of his brothers at arms.

Now, we are slowly learning more about the “behind closed doors” dealings of Senator McCain, and the truth is not making him look good. We can see that the poor decision making in Vietnam was no fluke. He continued the practice throughout his career in politics. Quite sadly, voters in Arizona mistook his valor for competence.

In recent months, many conservatives have made excuses for McCain. He’s facing a terrifying illness. Simply bearing with the cancer is certainly taking a toll, and that says nothing of the harshness of cancer treatments. In the face of it all, he has once again showed his grit and toughness. But, that still doesn’t excuse bad decisions.

Among the many small betrayals of the Republican Party, we have now learned that he was instrumental in one of the worst partisan attacks ever performed by the federal government. In this light, it might be reasonable to assume that McCain was never a real Republican and only sought office to undermine the party. This video will explain it fully. Take a look.
