Joe Scarborough of MSNBC Finally Gets It Right on the Susan Rice Story

As always, Democrats love to dismiss allegations against them that if applied to Republicans would be greeted with spectacle and awe. MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ Scarborough brings up an important point when he talks about the unmasking of members of President Trump’s transition team by Obama administration National Security Advisor Susan Rice.

That is, if the roles had been reversed, and the Democrats had been the victims rather than the perpetrators in this matter, we’d likely be hearing calls for a special prosecutor echoing from the pages of The New York Times, The Washington Post and other mainstream media outlets.

The Obama administration appears to have stepped in something very deep and malodorous with its behavior during the presidential transition (and potentially prior to it); claims about Trump officials colluding with Russia — which increasingly seem to have no merit — appear to be merely a smokescreen designed to distract from and camouflage the Democrats’ own dirt.

The more we learn about former President Obama’s efforts to discredit his successor, the more there seems to be a legitimate reason for calling Obama officials (and possibly the former president himself) before a Congressional committee.

The time for playing games with this issue is over; more facts need to be uncovered, and key players need to start answering serious questions. Watch Morning Joe make a salient point about partisan politics in Washington related to this controversy that likely rings too true for conservatives.
