Podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan (and UFC commentator) has had it with the stupidity of California’s Democrat supermajority that has run the state into bankruptcy. Rogan’s podcast is one of the top 5 most listened to in the nation. (Before you watch this video, realize that Rogan is using his typical NSFW potty-mouthed language — you’ve been warned.) Rogan has had it and he’s bailing on California to move to Texas.
One of the last straws for Rogan was an insane proposal from the Democrats to raise the tax rate to 54% on people making over $100,000 a year — and they want to make it retroactive to January 1st. So, if you made $100,000 over the course of a year: Surprise! You only get to keep $46,000, suckers! The retroactive tax is to make up for the huge budget shortfall that was a direct result of California’s shutdowns… which are still in place!
Businesses are still boarded up and shut down in Los Angeles County and the Bay Area. For some reason, people who make over $100K are suddenly deciding to get the heck out of California. The mass exodus of people fleeing the state has gotten so large that California’s population actually shrank last year, for the first time in decades.
“California dreamin'” is the plan that Democrats have for the rest of America. If government goes broke due to mismanagement, the only possible solution is to tax-and-socialism everyone into the poorhouse. Joe is a hypocrit. I love his show but he only left because of his new contract that he didn’t want taxed to no end. He’s all for leftist politics he just like many other lefty’s don’t want to foot the bill for it.
He’s already admitted to bringing his left-wing views to the great state of Texas. The left won’t be happy until they ruin every state they flee their own beliefs to.
