Joe Biden Moves Farther to the Left on Criminal Justice Reform, Moves to Dismantle System He Helped Build

Going back and watching videos of prominent Democrats from the early 1990s is like going through some kind of time warp. Who were these people? When did they become so crazy? They used to actually be pretty normal.

Watching then-Senator Joe Biden advocate for his tough-on-crime bill back in 1994 is truly weird, especially when you see him now. Biden was downright inspiring when he used to talk about the need to protect innocent Americans from sociopathic criminals. Biden’s stance was that we should worry about enforcement first, rehabilitation second.

It’s like when former Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid used to give speeches about illegal immigration. Reid would call anchor babies the greatest scourge on the planet, talked about how all illegal aliens are dangerous criminals who must be deported immediately — no questions asked — and that the only way to protect America from more illegal immigration was to build a big, beautiful wall on our southern border. Yes, that really happened in the 1990s. Just goes to show you how radicalized the Democrat Party has become.

Today, Joe Biden wants to tear down the criminal justice system in America which, incidentally, led to a pretty amazing time in the USA. The country’s murder rate, especially in black communities, fell dramatically from the mid-1990s until about 2010 or so when Barack Obama and Eric Holder’s policies started to “reform” everything. (The murder rate in black communities skyrocketed under Obama.)

Watch the amazing transformation of Joe Biden in this clip, as he goes from a hard-charging “lock ’em up” sort of Senator to today, when he is sounding like a bizarre Bill de Blasio clone.
