President Biden referred to Republican-sponsored voting reforms in Georgia, Texas and elsewhere as “Jim Crow 2.0″ inferring that it’s white supremacist “voter suppression.” Ben Shapiro weighs in, showing the situation is so bad that Biden is literally destroying his own party.
To celebrate his first year in office, Biden offered a rare solo press conference to celebrate his accomplishments. It just took one question on Russia to destroy it all. Biden talked about a “minor incursion” from Russia on Ukraine and it went downhill from there.
Secretary of State Blinken was reportedly still in Ukraine at the time. Talk about cleanup on aisle three! Biden wanted to brag about the number of people who got vaccines, but failed to point out more people died from COVID last year than in Trump’s final year, at least based on his CDC’s statistics. Plus, the latest Omicron variants seems to infect people with or without vaccines, making the bragging about vaccines irrelevant.
The press conference was a mess, and Shapiro offers the commentary to explain why. It wasn’t just one gaffe. Biden was a gaffe machine gun, dropping problems faster than fact checkers could catch them.
