Jim Carey Calls on Democrats to Embrace Socialism

Apparently, someone who used to be an actor, named “Jim Carrey,” put in an appearance on a TV show hosted by someone who used to be a comedian, named “Bill Maher.” (Does anyone watch TV anymore? We’re such big fans of these videos on the interwebs that we don’t watch the TV.)

Carrey is trying to rehabilitate his failed career by bashing President Trump every time he opens his mouth. He told Bill Maher’s… ahem… “audience”… that Democrats should get over their squeamishness and just embrace socialism.

That’s right, Jim Carrey, whose net worth is approximately $150 million because he used to be funny once upon a time long ago in days of your when movies were still on VHS, says you should have to stand in a bread line because socialism is awesome.

For evidence of the wonderfulness of socialism, Carrey points to Canada’s health care system. Really? In Canada, wait times to see a specialist have now ballooned to four and a half months or death – whichever comes first. Are you sure we’re looking at the same socialist health care system there, Ace Ventura?

Another person who agrees with us that Jim Carrey’s socialist dreams are not funny is Kennedy on Fox Business. Watch the video below for some more examples of why people might not want to be so eager to jump on the socialism bandwagon that’s taking Hollywood by storm.
