Comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld sent liberals into a FRENZY when he pointed out that the “extreme left” has been destroying everything in America with their culture of political correctness – including our ability to laugh!
In a recent interview, Seinfeld slammed the effect that the left has had on comedy in America by noting that before liberals infected the country with their P.C. garbage things used to be very different.
“It used to be you would come home at the end of the day, most people would go, ‘Oh Cheers is on. Oh M.A.S.H. is on. Oh Mary Tyler Moore is on. All in the Family is on.’ You just expected there’ll be some funny stuff we can watch on TV tonight. Well, guess what? Where is it?” he asked.
Seinfeld added, “This is the result of the extreme left, and P.C. crap and people worrying so much about offending other people.”
He went on to explain how now modern shows are forced to be examined by several groups before airing just to make sure they don’t “offend anyone.”
While Seinfeld was specifically blaming the left for the downfall of comedy, this “P.C. crap” that he mentions is responsible for many more of the problems in America and has created a society where we are forced to tip-toe around each other’s feelings or risk being “cancelled.”
