After years of religiously voting for Democrats, Hispanics are fed up and have been opting to back the GOP instead, with Florida showing just how serious that shift has been. However, when trying to explain why that’s happening – former press secretary Jen Psaki seems to think it’s because Hispanics are dumb.
In the midterms, Florida Latinos voted overwhelmingly Republican, even in conventionally Democrat areas like Miami-Dade county, delivering GOP candidates in the state massive victories.
Now an MSNBC contributor after jumping ship from Joe Biden’s White House, Psaki argued that Florida’s Hispanics are “not the same” as others around the country, before ultimately saying that “disinformation” in their media sources has tricked them into supporting Republicans.
“The Latino vote is not the same everywhere!” said Psaki. “There are huge generational differences and in Florida, [the] population of older voters (more likely Rs) [is] much larger than younger.”
“Socialism does not play there,” Psaki said. “And there is a massive disinformation problem in Spanish language media.”
Psaki’s words are part of a larger overall trend, in which Democrats reveal their contempt for Hispanics who refuse to support the radical left that is offering the same failed policies that destroyed countries like Cuba and Venezuela.
The Democrats feel entitled to the Hispanic vote but as the party continues to embrace the extreme left, they’re only pushing Latinos further away.
Psaki’s comments almost instantly generated an immense amount of backlash, watch the video to see what Hispanics had to say about her claims.
