Jeb Bush Doesn’t Want Trump to Win Republican Nomination for 2020

George H.W. Bush was one of the most underrated Presidents in our history. He followed through on Reagan policies, and he set the country up for decades of prosperity. His loss in his re-election is actually one of the worst things that has happened in our history. It condemned us to eight years of Clinton, led to the disaster that was Barack Obama, and ultimately set up the financial crash of 2008. Really. Had Bush Sr. won his second term, it’s unlikely any of those things would have happened.

Then we had George W. Bush. He faced greater challenges than most presidents, and he did ok. He was handed a struggling economy in the face of the dot com burst, and he pulled us out of it quickly. He dealt with 9/11 with grace and the ferocity necessary to prevent repeat attacks. There’s a reason there hasn’t been a 9/11 part two so far.

George W. Bush gets a worse rap than he deserves (but only slightly). Just to take the point home, remember that even the New York Times reported on massive chemical weapons caches that we found.

Then we have Jeb Bush. What has he done? Well, in 2016 he ran the most underwhelming primary in the entire Republican Party. Seriously. Do you remember when he had to ask the audience to clap? It was the saddest thing any of us have seen in politics in a long time.

Jeb Bush might not be a bad guy, but he has a bad plan. You’ll see just how bad in this video. It’s worse than taking a long shot against President Trump. He’ll long for the days when he could ask an audience to clap. Take a look.
