Vice President JD Vance EXPLODED on a trend among America’s most powerful businesses that is far too often overlooked!
Vance hit Big Tech companies for laying off American workers – only to outsource the jobs to foreign workers and importing them into the country through the shady H-1B visa program.
This program basically allows for companies to hire immigrants to REPLACE American workers which in most cases is illegal, but in this case its sanctioned by the government for some reason.
“You see some big tech companies where they’ll lay off 9,000 workers, and then they’ll apply for a bunch of overseas visas. And I sort of wonder; that doesn’t totally make sense to me,” Vance said during an interview at the All-In AI Policy Summit in Washington, DC, detailing what he described as a downright “betrayal of American workers.”
Vance went on to say that while we certainly want the best and brightest minds in America, what these greedy companies are doing is just WRONG.
“I don’t want companies to fire 9,000 American workers and then to go and say, ‘We can’t find workers here in America.’ That’s a bullshit story,” Vance said.
Microsoft is a prime example of this. They’re currently facing MASSIVE scrutiny over their “convenient” decision to use the H-1B program after announcing a wave of layoffs that will leave 9,000 workers out of a job.
