Why was James Comey fired? If you ask a leftist or someone who only gets their news from the lamestream media, he was fired because he was a threat to Trump. Trump wanted to replace him with someone who would protect him from FBI investigations, and Comey was clearly too impartial to be pushed into such disreputable behavior. Really, Comey was fired for being a good guy.
This is obviously untrue. Comey’s replacement hasn’t spent a single effort protecting Trump. The farce of an investigation has continued for two years. In that span, we have learned that Comey was far more biased and corrupt than it first seemed. He clearly mishandled investigations involving Hillary Clinton, and he was part of the illegal surveillance that started the Trump investigation in the first place.
Since being fired, Comey has made a living of running his mouth. He has speaking and book deals all over the place, and boy does he love the sound of his own voice. Every week you can hear him saying something else that is completely inappropriate coming from an ex-FBI director. It’s probably his favorite pastime.
