James Comey is Getting Very Defensive

Trish Regan of the Fox Business Network says former FBI Director is getting defensive, and she knows why. Recently, she spoke with former Trump Campaign Adviser, Michael Caputo on her program to discuss the reason for Comey’s sudden flurry of denials and attacks on Attorney General William Barr.

Comey tweeted on June 1, 2019:

Bill Barr on CBS offers no facts. An AG should not be echoing conspiracy theories. He should gather facts and show them. That is what Justice is about.

Comey has latched on to AG Barr’s use the word spying as prove he is a defendant of President Trump.

Comey is ignoring the fact that Barr has continually told both Congress and the American people that “spying” is not the problem. That is a legitimate function of intelligence agencies says Barr. It is whether the spying carried out by the FBI against Trump was for partisan purposes.

In a recent USA Today op-ed piece, Comey called Trump’s assertions the Bureau tried to take down his campaign a lie. “There was no corruption,” wrote Comey, “….those are lies, and dumb lies at that.

Watch the video and learn why Comey has gone on the defensive after praising AG Barr just a few months ago. Learn why Caputo told Regan we shouldn’t be surprised by the left’s attacks on Barr or Comey’s assertion he only wants justice.

Regan doesn’t miss the irony of Comey’s call for justice or why he is so concerned about controlling the narrative.
