Is Our Planet Doomed?

Reporter John Stossel recently moderated a debate on climate change hosted by The Heartland Institute that that only had one problem—none of the invited guest who are advocates of manmade climate change showed up.

When David Legate, professor climatology at the University of Delaware was asked about the much reported claims the earth only has 12 years to go without major legislated changes, he replied, “Well, in 12 years it will be 12 more years.”

He later was asked if sea levels had been rising over the last decade he said, “Yes, and the water has been rising for approximately 20,000 years and will probably continue to rise.”

One panelist noted that if everything proposed by former President Obama had been enacted the real temperature of the planet would have dropped at most 0.14% Celsius. Essentially, we would have an impoverished dark country.

Despite the evidence the contrary, Sen. Elizabeth Warren told followers at a recent campaign top that “global warning is a bigger challenge that World War II.”

Stossel noted that since he began reporting a long list of things were said to be endangering our very existence: DDT, lawn chemicals, Red Dye #2, Nitrates, MSG, Saccharin, Nutra Sweet, Aspartame, Electric Power lines, Hair dye, Asbestos, etc… yet we’re still here.

The problem is that climate crisis alarmist love to make speeches but avoid debate.

Watch the video and learn from John Stossel the reason the panel said governments continue to spread exaggerated claims of climate change.
