Is Joe Manchin’s Retirement the Final Nail in the Coffin for Biden’s 2024 Run?

Joe Biden’s performance as president has been so horrid that his chances of being reelected are already extremely slim – but now he has another massive obstacle standing in between him and a second term.

Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin announced that he is deciding not to seek another term and many believe that’s due to his decision to run for president, a move which would absolutely siphon away Dem voters from Biden in an election where he’ll definitely need every last one of them.

Manchin said, “I have made one of the toughest decisions of my life and decided that I will not be running for reelection.”

However, it’s the next line that suggests a presidential bid is in his future.

“But what I will be doing is traveling the country and speaking out, seeing if there is an interest in creating a movement to mobilize the middle and bring Americans together,” Manchin said.

The centrist center is going to be going around America and garnering support from moderate Democrats who think Joe Biden is too radical for them.

Democrat strategist David Axelrod believes that Manchin WILL run for president and if he does so as an independent it would deliver an absolutely devasting blow to Biden’s 2024 hopes.
