Leftwing city councils across the country are trying to pass local ordinances that restrict ICE’s deportation efforts. They don’t seem to understand that Congress has oversight of ICE. According to one bounty hunter in Washington state, the sanctuary cities trying to protect illegal aliens have no idea what’s coming in the next few months.
Fox News reports that there is also another major shakeup happening at ICE right now. About a dozen regional ICE leaders are being shuffled around and replaced with Border Patrol leaders.
ICE tends to do smaller, targeted operations to scoop up illegals. That worked fine during the initial wave, when they were arresting mainly hardened criminals and drug dealers. But that’s only a small dent in the 40 million+ illegals in the country.
The Border Patrol uses much more aggressive tactics. They’re the ones raiding the car washes and Home Depot parking lots and catching many of the “law abiding” illegals. This needs to happen at a much faster and much larger scale. That will likely happen with Border Patrol guys running the show now.
