Nancy Pelosi and 13 other Democrat leaders recently joined 25,000 other climate change zealots from around the world to as Brittany Hughes of Reality Check says spend “my money gallivanting off in a gas-fueled airplane to Spain” when they could have just as easily watched it on YouTube.
Scott Walker of The Washington Times reports incidents in which the climate change movement has shown it is “full of hypocrites” include:
- Politicians who fly in private jets but tell us to consider a world without planes.
- Movie stars advocating we ditch our vehicles when their idea of mass transit is a stretch limo.
- Activists preaching that America must cripple our economy while posting on their iPhones made in China.
- Candidates telling us we must give up meat while helping grill 10,500 steaks in Iowa.
When former Vice-President Al Gore won an Oscar for best documentary, The Associated Press revealed that his Nashville mansion used 12 times the average watts of energy compared to other homes in the area.
Ten years later Gore was still a hypocrite when he told CNN’s Jake Tapper, “I live a carbon-free lifestyle, to the maximum extent possible.”
Another inconvenient truth is that Gore’s claim of living a “carbon-free lifestyle to the maximum extent possible” is possible because of his purchase of “carbon offsets.”
