Despite a century of history lessons proving that Communism leads to increased poverty, violence, totalitarianism and social upheaval, a handful of liberal extremists are pushing the failed ideology.
The Bolshevik Revolution hit Russian in 1917 and led to the mass extermination of the business class and citizens who disagreed. Despite the genocide by communist dictators such as Joseph Stalin and China’s Mao Tse Tung, American idealists such as “Crazy” Bernie Sander and recently elected Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continue to push for “Democratic Socialism.”
The re-branding by Ocasio-Cortez may just be another instance of America’s least knowledgeable politician not knowing what she’s talking about. That being said, people who have suffered the debilitating effects of Communism are speaking out against these would-be commies.
