Immigrant Business Owner Under Assault for Supporting Trump Get a HUGE Surprise

Jorge Rivas and his wife Betty, owners of Sammy’s Mexican Grill in Catalina, Arizona, are proud the left wanted to drive them out of business for supporting President Trump.

The couple who are naturalized citizens, said the backlash began after leftist critics circulated a screengrab on social media of them standing in the crowd behind the President at a Feb. 19 rally.

Rivas told Fox & Friends, “There have been calls as well, threatening us and giving us a hard time because we support the president.”

The Rivas’ have never made a secret of their support for Trump. They proudly wear pro-Trump hats and display a full-sized Trump cut-out and signs such as “Latinos for Trump” in their restaurant.

According to KOLD13 News – Mrs. Rivas immigrated from Mexico’s Sonora state and Mr. Rivas is from El Salvador. But both know what it means to be all American and say hiding their support for the President “would be an insult.”

Rivas said, “It’s important for us to … say what we feel … saying, ‘Oh, I’m not going to express my opinion because they might attack me,’ that would go against what I believe. That would go against what America stands for.”

Watch the video as Turning Point USA’s Alex Clark interviews Jorge Rivas about what leftists tried to do to his business after they found out he supported President Trump and the surprising thing the President did to try to help the couple after the attacks.
