Then he jumped a curb like he was in a Fast & Furious audition, crashed into a stop sign, and was finally arrested. Clearly not the brightest bulb in the box.

Just hours later, in nearby Bensenville, another illegal alien—this time from Guatemala—named Widman Osberto Lopez-Funes, tried to run down ICE agents who were just doing their jobs. Fortunately, he was arrested too, before he could cause even more chaos.

So, let’s ask the obvious question: how did we get here?

Well, according to the Department of Homeland Security, this is exactly what happens when politicians like Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson spend their days demonizing ICE and promoting lawless sanctuary policies. DHS didn’t hold back. Their statement slammed these Democrat leaders for encouraging attacks, saying their rhetoric led to a “more than 1000% increase in assaults” on ICE.

Think about that. Over a thousand percent increase.

And for what? To score political points with their radical, open-borders base? While real Americans—especially our law enforcement—are put in harm’s way?

This isn’t just some freak one-off. It’s part of a disturbing trend. Remember, just last month an ICE building in Dallas was fired on by a sniper. In June, ICE personnel in L.A. were attacked with Molotov cocktails. This is what the Left’s “compassionate” immigration policy actually looks like—violence, chaos, and total disrespect for the rule of law.

Now, thankfully, no ICE agents were killed in these latest attacks. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin made it clear: anyone who dares attack law enforcement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And under President Trump, that promise actually means something.
