Ilhan Omar just threw a tantrum—and this time, it wasn’t on the House floor. After her preferred candidate lost the Minneapolis mayor’s race, she gave an angry speech blaming… wait for it… fellow Somali-Americans. That’s right. She lashed out at her own community because they dared to think for themselves instead of blindly supporting her friend and fellow Somali immigrant, Omar Fateh.
Rep. Ilhan Omar, the queen of the Squad and self-declared progressive icon, went full meltdown mode in her native Somali language, probably thinking no one would bother to translate. Big mistake. Her words were crystal clear—and revealed how she really views America and Americans.
“When a Somali person becomes an enemy, they become a serious one,” Omar said. “There are people like that living right here in our city… We need to get rid of these people. We will never gain power and move forward as Somalis as long as these people live among us and we don’t kick them out.”
A sitting member of Congress is on video calling for the removal of people—fellow immigrants—just because they didn’t vote the way she wanted. Sounds more like a dictator than a Democrat, but hey, with today’s Left, the line gets blurrier by the day.
She wasn’t done. She accused members of her own community of spreading lies and undermining Somalis, saying they must not be welcomed. Translation? If you’re not with Ilhan, you’re against her—and you’re out.
The tirade also makes it clear Omar doesn’t view herself as an American. She views herself as Somali. And her loyalty lies with her birthplace, not the country that took her in and elected her to Congress.
And who was the candidate she was crying over? Omar Fateh, a state senator with connections to radical Islamic leaders and backed by the usual suspects like CAIR—an organization with a history of ties to terrorism financing.
Funny how the “party of tolerance” always turns on its own the minute they stop falling in line.
The left wouldn’t translate Rep. Omar’s anti-American speech but we did, watch and read the translation for yourself.
