Left-wing news network C-SPAN hosted a Democrat-only call-in session live on TV to gauge how “satisfied” Democrat voters currently are with their party – and it was a total disaster.
A recent poll suggested that just 23% of registered Democrats think positively of their party, but the C-SPAN show may have revealed numbers in the real world are even WORSE!
The first caller was a man from Maryland named Will who said that he’s sick of the Democrats entire strategy being to “bash President Doanld Trump”
“I think the Democrats almost need to stop bashing against [President Donald] Trump so much and start focusing really on some of those things that [Senator] Cory Booker (D-NJ) was talking about,” Will said, suggesting he wants the Democrats to… actually DO something for a change.
“A lot of the problems are self-inflicted. And they need to step back, look at themselves and I don’t even think that really continually bashing Trump is most effective,” he said. “Focus on all the other issues.”
The next call was even worse.
“I’m registered Democrat, but I hate my party,” Frank from Staten Island said before going on to say he hasn’t voted Democrat in “quite a while” because he prefers REPUBLICAN policies.
“I haven’t voted for a Democrat really in the elections in quite a while. And yes, I voted Republican many times because I like the policies better. Democrats have had terrible policies,” Frank said.
The third caller was a crackpot who said he was “very satisfied with the Democratic Party and the current leadership” but then stated he hopes former President Barack Obama runs for a third term as president… so I guess he’s not all that happy with CURRENT leadership after all!
Bill from Pennsylvania, was the fourth to call in and he said he’s a “registered Democrat, but very disillusioned with the Democratic Party,” later saying he wants the party to move FURTHER LEFT.
Democrats and their base are in absolute shambles! The look on the C-SPAN anchor’s face says it all!
