Spotify has dropped Barack and Michelle Obama’s podcast. They refused to give the former President and his wife millions of dollars for another year.
In contrast, Spotify has a $100 million deal with podcaster Joe Rogan.
It looks like the demands were too high by the Obamas or the audience simply wasn’t there. Following his departure from office, Obama struck gold through a myriad of media deals.
Now it looks like his previous fame has faded, at least when it comes to real people willing to listen to him on a podcast. He might still demand big sums for a Netflix documentary or a leftist book deal, but Spotify is actually out to make money based on subscriptions and listeners, something Rogan likely has far more of than Obama.
But from Obama’s standpoint, he’s just considering other options, the nice way of saying he didn’t get renewed. He’ll likely won’t find a taker somewhere else if the rumors are true about how little work the Obama’s wanted to actually do.
All of this is increasingly showing Obama’s audience isn’t what it used to be as more Americans are fed up with the left’s destruction of the nation and are ready for new voices willing to stand for what its citizens truly believe.

On reflection, it seems to me that the Obamas are largely responsible for the horrific problems facing this wonderful
Country. We have witnessed them pitting the haves against the have nots, blacks against whites, liberals against conservatives. Lining their pockets while stripping our citizens of a livelihood and living safety.
