HUD Official Slams NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio over Public Housing Crisis

Have you heard about the housing crisis in the Dakotas? How about the rampant murder rate in Idaho? Maybe you’re familiar with the crisis pregnancy problem in Utah. You haven’t heard about these issues? That’s because they’re non-issues. The reddest states in the union tend to have their stuff together, and the major problems you hear about on mainstream media are only really plaguing the blue parts of the country.

That probably doesn’t surprise you, but it does lead to an important point. Every time Democrats try to double down on their social justice policies, they tend to make those specific problems even worse. Do you remember what happened when Bill Clinton signed a law that made housing more affordable? Here’s a reminder. It led to the worst economic collapse since the Great Depression.

On a smaller scale, blue states and districts are ripe with case studies that show this problem on repeat. You need look no further than New York to see every kind of problem exacerbated by excessive regulations and rampant corruption. It’s funny how those two go together.

In this video, you can see how New York’s assisted housing program is completely failing. A national official for HUD spent some time in New York housing, and they didn’t mince words when calling out Bill De Blasio for his failures. Take a look.
