How the White House Plans to Fight Impeachment

Impeachment is official. The Democrats made history by voting to impeach a president entirely on party lines and without even alleging a crime.

Think about that for a minute. It would be one thing to accuse the president of a crime and have it proven untrue later. They weren’t even brave enough to do that. They basically admitted that this impeachment has no Constitutional basis and did it anyway.

The next step is the trial in the Senate, and with Republicans running that show, President Trump will finally be allowed to defend himself. When we elected Donald Trump, the country chose a fighter, a brawler. You’re probably ready to see the gloves come off. President Trump is going to come out swinging!

Here’s the thing. We know the President is capable of fighting hard, but is it necessary in this case? The facts are already on his side. All he really has to do is make sure those facts are fully public. From there, we can trust a Republican Senate to do the right thing.

If this sounds surprising, then you might want to hear it directly from one of President Trump’s advisors. Sometimes, the best defense is to sit back and watch your enemy trip over their own two feet. Tony Sayegh explains it all in this video.
