It’s not your imagination. The US military has devolved into a weird social experiment in which projecting liberal wokeness in the world is more important than projecting strength or confidence. One of Biden’s US Air Force generals testified before Congress this week and it was like listening to a space alien talk.
Republicans in Congress brought up some of the recent Air Force training materials on “inclusive language” that airmen (airpersons?) are supposed to use nowadays. Here are a few examples from the speech training:
Ask what someone’s pronouns are.
Include all genders when talking to people.
Instead of saying, “You guys,”say “Y’all/Team/Squaddies/Everyone/Folks.”
Use the term “partner” instead of “boyfriend/girlfriend.”
Instead of saying “people with disabilities,” say “disabled people.”
Instead of saying “transgenders,” servicemembers must say “transgender people.”
Members of the US Air Force are also no longer allowed to refer to each other by nicknames, which is a time-honored tradition in nearly every branch of the service.
This is the reason for two very big things that everyone but the military seems to realize. First, it’s the reason why recruitment numbers are so low. Ask any veteran of any branch of the service if they are recommending that their own children join the military under Joe Biden. You already know the answer.
Second, we’re going to lose a major war because our military is focused on ridiculous, anti-human social experiments instead of focusing on how to kill America’s enemies.
