It took Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) a little over a week to fully construct and furnish a new detention center to house illegal aliens while they wait to be deported home. What’s even more impressive than the quick construction time is where he built the new migrant holding center: the middle of the Florida everglades.
Just like every other time a Republican outperforms a Democrat and garners positive attention for themselves, liberals are really, really mad about it.
The facility, dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz” is in Florida’s swamp land and it is surrounded by everglades—a watery wilderness teeming with alligators, snakes, and exotic birds. All of which make it very undesirable to escape from.
Aside from the alligators (and some pythons) it’s a pretty standard detention center, but the Democrats have adopted this as their newest hill to die on.
Liberals have started calling the facility “Alligator Auschwitz,” while arguing that President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis have conspired to build a “concentration camp.”
Former MSNBC host Joy Reid, fired because her commentary was so far-left that she was costing the network viewers, claimed that the pair is “rounding up brown people” to put them in this “camp” because they “don’t want them in Florida.”
After spending years pushing the failed narrative that Trump is a Nazi, the left is now claiming that he’s building “concentration camps…”
Oh but it doesn’t stop there!
Ultra-liberal Hollywood celebrities who OBVIOUSLY know better than us regular folk, have claimed that it’s time to start blaming the people who VOTED for Trump – like you and I.
Actor Jason Bateman said, “It’s the people that have put him there that really deserve a great deal of responsibility… and a talking to.”
Apparently in the eyes of these nutjob liberals, we helped build “concentration camps” and we need a stern “talking to” to teach us a lesson…
Yikes.
