Hillary Doubles Down on Her Anti-Woman, Anti Heartland Rhetoric

Hillary Clinton is still incredibly bitter about her 2016 defeat, and she’s now aiming all of that ire at voters in the Heartland who by-and-large voted for Donald Trump. In one speech, Clinton referred to these Heartland voters as backwards racists who voted for Trump as a way to turn back the clock on civil rights progression. She went on to say that the only reason women voted for Trump was because of pressure from their husbands.

To make matters worse, Clinton made all of these remarks while visiting India, meaning that all of her anti-American rhetoric was directed toward a foreign audience.

Now, Clinton is doubling down on these remarks in the form of a barbed “apology”. Rather than truly apologizing for her remarks, Clinton attempts to better explain them – and in the process reveals even more of her disdain for the Heartland and for women who voted Trump.

Since the 2016 election, Clinton has been reduced almost entirely to bitter vitriol such as this, causing many prominent Democrats to distance themselves from her. Of course, the odds that the Democratic Party would ever run Clinton again in any election were miniscule even before she went on her international temper tantrum. Nevertheless, Clinton continues to provide voters everywhere with reasons to be thankful she didn’t win in 2016.
