HILARIOUS: Democrat Attempt to Slam Trump Backfires – Makes Him Even MORE Popular

A Democrat Congressman from California tried to mock President Donald Trump by claiming he has pushed some over-the-top border security proposals – and boy did that backfire!

Rep. Robert Garcia seemed to criticize Trump by arguing that he would do whatever it takes to close the border – including installing alligator patrolled moats, electric fencing, and shooting migrants in the leg.

“I want to remind the public that Trump and House Republicans also have their own ideas for the border. Let’s review the majority’s border ideas that they’ve actually presented,” Garcia began during a House Oversight Committee hearing.

“Donald Trump has actually said he wants to build alligator moats along the border. That’s one of his incredible ideas. Another idea that Donald Trump has promoted is that he wants to electrify the border fence and maybe even put some spikes on the border.”

Garcia’s then brought up a hilarious illustration of what Trump’s border would look like (alligator moat and all) but if anything it looked more like an advertisement for Donald Trump than a criticism of him!

He added that Trump wants to “bomb northern Mexico with missiles” and “shoot migrants in the legs as they cross the border” which is particularly comical because it actually resembles more closely Biden’s solution for police shootings for which he said armed criminals should be shot in the leg to deescalate situations.

While Garcia tried to paint the picture that Trump was some kind of evil tyrant for wanting to secure the border, social media users actually cheered on these ideas – certainly not the desired outcome this Democrat was looking for!
