The Biden-Harris recipe has been discovered! In a newly-released video, President Biden prepares to sign one of his 40-plus executive orders from his two weeks in office. Opening one order, he says, “I don’t know what I’m signing.”
Vice President Kamala Harris answers, “Sign it anyway.”
This experience appears to reveal a pattern. Biden isn’t sure what he’s doing, but does what Harris (and his other handlers) tell him. Sure, everybody needs help sometimes, but when an American President signs something, the stakes are just a bit higher than for the average citizen.
What happens if the nation is at war and President Biden must make an important decision? How about if the economy drops into freefall and government needs to intervene? If this is how Biden handles everyday actions like signing an executive order, what will happen when our nation faces more serious moments?
If the pattern holds, it will really be Kamala Harris and others around Biden calling the shots. Maybe that’s why Obama’s dream team has largely reassembled for the Biden administration. When something needs done, he’ll have a crew in place with two terms of experience implementing progressive policies.
Biden’s first term is quickly beginning to look like Obama’s third term or maybe even a Harris term. Sometimes it’s hard to know, especially when you don’t know what you’re signing.
