Heineken Ad Pulled for Racism. There’s Just One Problem (It’s Not Racist)

Who knew that beers had races?! Apparently the divides between stouts and IPAs run deep. The systemic issues between these beverages have long held the dark beers down. Just go to any liquor store and bar and you can see it for yourself. Light beer is everywhere, but when was the last time you saw a good porter on tap? And here I thought it was just because hipsters have bad taste in beer.

It’s fun to make these jokes, especially at the expense of liberals, but there is a real problem here. If a beer can be racist, then so can anything else. Car paint, carpets, sunsets and the vastness of outer space are just a few things that come to mind. It’s hard not to laugh but this is something that a lot of Americans seriously believe. They think that racism can be found in anything that has a color, and they’re willing to tear it all down. They don’t even realize that none of this has any impact on actual racism.

There’s a quote from the movie ‘Remember the Titans’ that comes to mind, “You ain’t doing these kids a favor by patronizing them. You’re crippling them.” Virtue signaling and pandering don’t help anyone face the harshness of reality. It doesn’t empower marginalized groups. It just weakens them.

This video will show you the beer ad, the reaction and why it all really does matter. When you watch it, feel free to laugh at the left, but don’t ignore the deeper implications.
