Here’s what you need to understand about the media and their hatred of President Trump. They aren’t going after him because of the things he has done wrong.
Admittedly, the President isn’t perfect, and on the occasion that he does mess up, the media is all over it. But, the bulk of this relationship isn’t based on the failings or demerits of Donald Trump. The media hates him for his success.
Think about it. When they were sure he wouldn’t get the nomination, he was their favorite candidate. They laughed at his outrageous behavior and were in on the joke. When he made fun of people or went on the attack, they backed him up and added coal to the fire. They were happy to join him in criticizing the biggest names in the Republican Party.
But then, he won the election they told us he couldn’t win. Worse, the nation and economy didn’t immediately collapse the way they promised it would. Trump’s success is proof of the media’s failure. That’s why they’re so desperate to find ways to attack him.
Truth be told, this is an astonishing thing to realize, and Greg Gutfeld of Fox News probably puts it in better terms than anyone else.
