Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul left DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas stunned in a searing speech this week over his new “Ministry of Truth” to battle so-called disinformation.
Senator Rand Paul artfully pointed out at one point the government helped disseminate the Steele dossier and illegally spied on a presidential candidate and even into his presidency. The facts now show the dossier was made up, but not before the government thought it was true. Rand wanted to know if the government’s “Ministry of Truth” would have disseminated that information to the people?
Mayorkas tried to bring the conversation back by pointing out the disinformation Mexican drug cartels say about Title 42, and how they use it to try to recruit more people to pay them to get them across the border. But Senator Rand Paul didn’t fall for it and again artfully outwitted Biden’s “Ministry of Truth” director.
The pattern of the government and DHS with handling truth is the exact opposite of what the country needs deciding which information is disinformation. The lack of transparency in the current administration is already running high.
Putting the left in charge of disinformation is simply another move to control speech it does not like, whether conservatives on social media or political leaders who could be a threat to Democrats winning future elections. Find out more in the latest video featuring Rand’s speech.
The problem our present system of censoring what is thought to be disinformation is that the People never get to see the banned information. If we had a “ministry of Truth”, regardless of its actual name, that handled the Truth correctly, they would post every incident of censorship on a publicly available website that would state the alleged falsehoods, and the reasons why they were censored. In that way, the People could see how their government is protecting them and judge the government’s efficiency in doing it at the same time. It would then be fairly easy to see if the rules governing the censors were biased in any way.
Senator Rand Paul just showed the country what a useless lying POS Mayorkas is. After November, I suspect Paul will successfully call for and get his impeachment passed and this piece of shit will be history!!!

All of the dems seem to be totally out of touch with the general public. They will find out that they are not immune to being kicked out of office after the Nov. elections. How any one in their right mind can think that a disinformation committee would work being led by the most disinformation group in the world, is totally nuts.
What has happened to our country? We have let it happen over the years by ignoring it. Now we see the fruits of the left over the years.
Trusting the government (any government) to tell the people the truth is like trusting a three year old to tell the truth about who ate the last cookie. It is never going to happen. Our government has lied to us for so long that few people (mostly sheeple) believe anything they say. Just like when they told everyone that cloth or paper masks would stop the COVID virus when anyone with any sense knew that the virus had no problem passing through such masks. If the government says it’s good for you there’s a real good chance the opposite is true.
