Imagine changing clothes in a locker room, expecting to be in a safe place while you’re naked, and instead you’re greeted by a half-dressed man with male genitalia exposed who invades your space, watches you change, ogles your naked body, calls you a b—-, and makes you feel completely unsafe. That’s exactly what happened to Tish Hyman at a Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles. And get this — after she spoke up? The gym didn’t kick out the locker room intruder. They canceled her membership.
Now a few years ago this story would have gone unreported, but the backlash Gold’s gym is getting and the support Tish is getting from across the country shows there is a cultural shift afoot.
Tish posted the whole ordeal on social media, and the video is blowing up. You see a man, who calls himself a transgender, casually strolling into the women’s locker room while other female gym-goers look completely uncomfortable. According to Tish, this wasn’t a one-time thing. The guy had been using the women’s locker room for weeks, and the gym just turned a blind eye, even after multiple complaints.
But when Tish finally had enough and screamed for help? The staff didn’t remove the man—they fired her as a member. Because in Gavin Newsom’s California, the person asking to feel safe is the problem, not the guy invading a women-only space.
Tish isn’t backing down, though. She’s telling women to cancel their memberships and stop giving money to places that don’t protect them. She’s also getting slammed online by radical leftist trolls calling her a “TERF,” because apparently, defending women’s rights now gets you labeled as a bigot.
OutKick’s Riley Gaines hit the nail on the head: “If we saw boldness like this back in 2020, this insanity would’ve never been allowed to fester like it has.” She’s right. The left pushed this madness, and now women are being punished for saying, “Hey, maybe men shouldn’t be in the women’s locker room.”
